Behind The Twitter Password Change Message

Twitter recently asked their users to change the old password for security purposes. For these days all the users were prompted to change their password and almost all have responded to it. But this made discussions over social medias that the information from twitter was leaked and someone have all the account information.

The tweet from Twitter Support the verified support team account of twitter solves the misunderstanding happened due to this message. The message says they have found a bug recently that they were storing passwords unmasked in some of their internal logs which is now resolved. They have not got any indication that someone had used this breach but for the safety of account as a precaution password change is being advised by them.
