The Crypto Art Exhibition Curated by Cortex Ended Successfully in Wuhan

The Crypto Art exhibition that was co-hosted by Cortex Labs’ Chinese community manager, Snow, has ended successfully. Cortex Labs has also provided technical support for this art exhibition. 14 of the exhibited works were published on Cortex’s MainNet and NFTs can be viewed directly on the Cortex Wallet.

The third Global Blockchain conference “Believe in the Future” took place in Wuhan on December 5th and 6th, 2020 at the Wuhan International Conference & Exhibition Center, where the first batch of shelter hospitals was built in under 36 hours during the outburst of the COVID-19. The conference gained support from Wuhan City Council, Jianghan Local Councils, Wuhan Economic and Information authorities, and other agencies.

The outbreak of COVID-19 has had a tremendous impact on human society and has contributed to more commercial practice being shifted online. As a result, artists started to shift their works and auction online. The blockchain technology and NTF provides great value to artists as they allow artists to trace the value of their artworks in the virtual and online world where we are living right now in 2020.

There have been exhibits of crypto art in Beijing, Shanghai, and Nanjing, but none of these places are as comparable as Wuhan. It is the most ideal location for exhibitions like this. Crypto art is known to have no boundaries; the role of Wuhan in this epidemic is obvious and it promotes the deep migration into the online realm of global human society. In this city full of rivers and lakes that were ruined by the epidemic, we need to commemorate an indelible memory uniquely.

First of all, Wuhan was the place where the outbreaks began, and it was also the first city that has been fully cured and gotten back on track. Secondly, during the outbreak, Wuhan has seen the beauty and ugliness from different perspectives; whether it’s political, economic, technical, emotional, or human. Yet, Wuhan pulled itself together, showed the world that we are stronger than COVID-19, and defeated the virus. As a result, Wuhan shows the future of humanity after the COVID-19.

Cortex Labs has also organized a seminar and workshop about crypto art for artists and developers during the two-day exhibition. All proceeds from the exhibition and auction are to donate to the children who lost their parents in the epidemic.
